7 Things Tag (Haute Mess)

Hey!

I was tagged by the lovely Musicalhouses from Of Faces and Fingers. Thank you!

The rules are: I tell you 7 random facts about me, and I tag 7 other bloggers to do the same thing.

If you've been reading my blog for a while then you know I've done a couple of similar tags before so I am running out of facts and am definitely going to repeat myself!!

But here goes -

1. When I'm upset or feeling a bit low I get into water. Either the bath or the shower. I stay in there for hours sometimes. I don't know why, it just makes me feel better! I also find that sitting in the shower helps me when I have a migraine.

2. I love makeup almost as much as I love nail polish. The only reason I don't do many makeup posts is because I don't like close up pictures of my face! Also, despite my love for it, I don't actually wear makeup that often. I don't wear any on a day to day basis but I really go to town on nights out with it. I sometimes think I like getting ready to go out more than actually going out :)

3. I love to dance. I'm not saying I'm a good dancer but I sure do love to do it! I also love to watch other people dancing. Any programme to do with dancing and I'm there!

4. I'm a trekkie. Not as much as I was when I was younger but I still love everything Star Trek. I don't speak Klingon or anything like that though... I'm a moderate trekkie :)

5. When I was young I used to always refuse to eat dumplings because I thought they were actually ducklings! I've still never eaten them until this day because even though I know the truth now, I'm still suspicious...

6. Maz and I come from VERY different cultural and religious backgrounds. Our relationship works because we compromise a lot. When we get married there will be even more compromise and probably a lot of heated debates over certain things but it will all be worth it as we love each other :)

7. I love exams. I know most people will go 'WHAT' about that but I do. I always have and never get nervous about them...not that I've done any in a while! I am at my best under pressure so I always get my best results that way!

So they are my 7 random facts :)

I'm just going to tag anyone who wants to do this as I am so behind in doing this I have no idea who's been tagged already!

Stay tuned for another tag and a small giveaway later today!

I like neither na'vi nor klingon as the future global language. Especially when you have to dress up for it :D

We also need a future international language. One which is easy to learn, as well !

And that's not English ! Esperanto ? Let's move forward :)

At least Bill Shatner speaks Esperanto. Confirm at http//www.lernu.net

Man, I find it so hard to list seven facts about myself - or ten, anymore I'm definitely repeating myself!
You know, Tony and I have a lot in common - but then, we also have a TON of differences - not only is he five years older than me, he also was raised down south in a completely different environment than I was. It's not a cultural thing completely, but it sort of is - Okay. I'm going to shut up because that could be a long explanation, and just say that I understand the need for compromise! :P
I'm with you on the makeup. I love it more than I wear it - but I've been making myself wear light makeup to work every day, because I don't really want to waste it. One lid color, a liner, mascara, lip balm, a tiny bit of blush and some loose powder. It's becoming a routine, so that's not bad. But I LOVE dramatic colors, obviously! :)
As to getting ready rather than going out, I think it's more fun too! Haha! We do have a lot in common.
And I wrote a little book here anyway. ♥

OMG on the dumpling/duckling thing, that's horrible! Although I guess kind of funny to look back on once you realise your mum isn't actually putting whole baby birds in a stew... ;)
