Wearable Nail Soakers

Hi guys!

This is just a quick post to show you what I got in the post today.

A while a go I was looking on ebay and saw these nail soakers.

Now I realise they're meant to be for removing artificial nails but I thought they may be worth a try for sorting the issue of how long glitter polish takes to remove!

I've had glitter polish on the last few days so I gave them a try straight away.

Literally all you have to do is put some nail polish remover in the little pod and then put your finger in and leave to soak for a couple of minutes.
I didn't use them all at once. I did 3 fingers at a time so that I didn't waste loads of remover.
I have to say....they were a MASSIVE success!! I was so happy. The nail polish just comes straight off! No scrubbing, no getting through masses of remover and cotton wool and no getting glitter absolutely everywhere!!
I realise that soaking part of my fingers in acetone probably isn't particularly good for them but I only plan to use them for glitter polishes and for me it's well worth it.
Success!

I've seen those too, but your idea is brilliant! It's probably no worse than rubbing them like crazy with acetone and it sounds like it definitely work better :)

I've never seen those before! That's so neat. I would love to give those a whirl, removing glitter polish is a pain usually!

I used to love Cutex's Gel Polish remover for glitter polish & other hard to remove colors. I'd just put a squirt on the spot, leave it for a few seconds, and then swipe it off with a Qtip. Sadly, they don't make it anymore. :-(

I've seen these around too and often wondered about them. They do make me giggle though! And knowing my luck someone would come to the door while I was wearing them - I can just see me trying to control two bouncy dogs and answer the door with them on :D

I saw these at the drug store as a set with a tiny bottle of 100% acetone. I would love them for removing nail patches when it's time to refresh the patch. I usually end up soaking a cotton pad in acetone and holding it against my nail...forever. These seem way more efficient!

I really like your blog. I added you to my blogroll.

You are a genius girl! I think I'll have to invest in some so I can start wearing my Barry M glitters again!

I am the sort of hombre who enjoys to taste hot things. Right now I am manufacturing my private solar panels. I am doing it all alone without the assistance of my men. I am utilizing the net as the only path to acheive that. I stumbled upon a truly awesome website which explains how to create pv panels and wind generators. The site explains all the steps needed for pv panel building.

I am not really sure about how correct the info given there iz. If some people over here who have experience with these things can have a peak and give your feedback in the site it would be great and I would really value it, because I really take an interest in solar panel construction.

Tnx for reading this. You people are great.

I've seen these on ebay too and they look similar to a product "bubble nails" that was around years ago that protected your nails while they were wet. Do you think that if I did not fill these with anything that I could use them to keep my nail polish from smudging? I am very busy and often have no time to do my nails until late and by that time I just want to go to bed. But I also hate waking up in the morning to imprints in my nails that were perfect before I went to bed lol.
